okay pls pay attention:-

buy a fully wired scart cable (from Dixons or somewhere), attach one end to one VCR and the other end to the other VCR using the Euro AV connection sockets (also called scart sockets). Press the channel buttons or the number 0 on the remote control to select an input from an external source. Ensure the VCR which is the receiving VCR is set to external.

check your VCR manuals as they should include info on doing this. it may be called "dubbing" or "connections with other equipment"

you have 30 minutes in which to complete this task. begin now

    LOL !!!!!!!!

To test this is set up correctly, take the video cassette with the "Day in the life of Blue" documentary on it and insert into vcr A. Take a blank video tape and insert into vcr B. Press "play" on vcr A and "record" on vcr B. ONce recording stops, send newly recorded tape to me for quality control checks!

    Hehehehe! Sorry, couldn't resist...

I have read and inwardly digested these instructions and will send house-elf (husband) to the stores tomorrow to buy Scart lead

I will attempt these tricky procedures one evening this week (if time is available) but, if not, it will have to wait until next week cos I is off to Butlins @ Bognor next Friday for my 'girly weekend' (or, to put it another way, 48 hour binge/snog fest ) LOL

Thanks Alli (and Karl) for the info and Sue, that Blue tape *ooh err missus* had got some luverly additions to it, i.e Blind Date/T4/SM:TV etc.... *rarrrrrrrr*
